iSmart Registration Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 1st of June 2020
All terms and conditions outlined below apply to all registrations onto our iSmart courses:
Course Fee
The fee for the Online Course (the “Fee”) must be paid in full prior to the commencement of the course. Registration is not complete until Smartway English Academy has received such full payment of the course fee. All Online Courses will be billed in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR). You can pay by credit card or debit card. After successful registration, you will receive an e-mail from Smartway English Academy acknowledging your enrolment in the Online Course and will be given access to the registered Online Course.
Course Content
The course content is intended to help students to use Business English in a present or future work situation. However, core subject areas for this course includes Presentation Skills, Email Skills, Meeting Skills, Negotiation Skills and Telephone Skills.
Smartway English Academy is not responsible if you fail to meet the Online Course requirements and you should ensure that you allocate sufficient time to allow you to successfully complete the Online Course. Refunds are only available as set out below.
Student Conduct
By continuing to access or use the Online Course and the website http://ismart.smartwayenglish.com.my/ (the “Website”), or any content located via the Online Course and/or on the Website, you signify your acceptance of the below terms. Smartway English Academy may modify these terms and conditions at any time.
Smartway English Academy grants you access to the content located via the Online Course and/or on the Website in connection with the Online Course you are enrolled in. As a condition of such access, you agree that:
- You may not copy, reproduce, duplicate, distribute, disseminate, publish, post, display, perform, modify, create derivative works from, upload to, transmit, or in any way exploit any content from the Online Course and/or on the Website. You may not sell or offer for sale any of the content, or allow third parties to access it, or use such content to construct any kind of database. You may use the content from the Online Course and/or on the Website only for personal, non-commercial use.
- Any violation of these terms may result in your expulsion from the Online Course and/or Smartway English Academy, and you may be subjected to fines and penalties.
- You agree to maintain the security of any user name and password required for accessing the Online Course. You will notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your username and/or password.
Smartway English Academy reserves the right to remove you from the Online Course and/or the Website if you do not respect these guidelines,
System Availability
Our e-Learning system is generally available 24/7, but may be down during times of maintenance required for optimum system performance. We will make every effort to inform you of system downtime in advance, but, this is not always possible. We too cannot provide support for computers that do not meet our system requirements.
Technology Requirements
The Online Course is facilitated through an e-learning system. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the proper hardware and software requirements, along with access to Wi-Fi, to be able to participate in the course.
We are not responsible for any errors or failures in relation to your ability to access the Online Course, the Website or any related materials, including where such errors or failures are caused by:
(i) a loss of connection on your end;
(ii) a breakdown or problems with the online software and/or
(iii) a breakdown or problems with your internet connection, computer or system.
Cancellations and Refunds
- The enrolled online course is STRICTLY NON-TRANSFERABLE to anyone.

You have the right to cancel your purchase with Smartway English Academy at any time within 14 days after the purchase of the Online Course without any reason, but an administration fee may be charged.

If you cancel your registration in an Online Course at any time after the expiry of the 14 days period, your refund request would be subject to approval by the management. If a refund is granted to you, an administration fee may be charged.

Approved refunds will take at least 14 working days to complete.
- You will lose access to all of iSmart's content once we refund your payment.
- If you plan to cancel your membership with us, kindly reach out to your respective course consultant or submit your refund application request to the following email address: [email protected].
Should a situation arise that is not covered by these Terms and Conditions, Smartway English Academy reserves the right to take any reasonable and fair action as we see fit.
